Just saw a post on FB from a TBM in our ward who says she just saw the "second new temple film." First I've heard of that -- anybody have any news on it?

I would love if anybody has seen the second new temple movie to compare and contrast with the first.

I alluded to it in this thread here:
posting.php?mode=quote&f=2&p=493186

It was released on Tuesday. I haven't seen the first or the second.

Rumor has it there will be a third to come out before around June.

I don't plan to see the third either.

I guess if they keep releasing films they can bolster the attendance numbers out of sheer curiosity. My prediction is that they will start putting seek-and-find clues in the Ensign: did you see the turtle?

Will it be snubbed by the Oscars?

Where's Waldo?! He's not at church because he lost his testimony.

I'm waiting to see the new movies when I can rent them at Blockbuster...

Redbox and Netflix killed Blockbuster. This bears witness of the truthfulness of the church.

Maybe this one is the unrated directors cut. For all those hoping for full nudity in the Garden of Eden, there's hope left.

I'll just wait for the sequel.

I was hoping for someone to come up with the parallel that the temple movie, no matter how "new," is pretty much as out-of-date as Blockbuster (or worse.) But your comparison works too...

Do you think I'll be able to get that rental on BetaMax?

No, BetaMax was not a true format. You need a true and living format which will never be removed from the face of the earth.

William Shatner as Satan. I bet we could afford him.

The one that doesn't have Eve covenanting to Adam, or the one where HF comes down and says it was only meant to be in force until the atonement and all women are now released from it and men no longer preside, it is equality in home at church and in society.

I was thinking more like more lasers and spaceships to fill in the space scenes, and a few more explosions would be nice, thankyouverymuch. I do like your idea too, though. :)

Is this the one with Donny Osmond in the role of the Devil and David Archuleta doing a multi-track recording as the Heavenly Host?

Oy, what an apple I have for you already.
